San Francisco, California — October 7, 2026 — HENNGE Inc., a cloud identity and cybersecurity company, will host an exclusive webinar for The ASCII Group member community on October 13, 2026, at 2:00 PM ET (11:00 AM PT). The session, “Identity Is the Next Managed Service,” will explore why conditional access is becoming an increasingly important part of identity security and how MSPs can turn stronger access controls into a practical managed service for SMB clients.

The ASCII Group is a membership-based community of independent managed service providers (MSPs) and technology solution providers across North America. Through education, peer collaboration, events, and business resources, ASCII helps its members navigate the changing technology and cybersecurity needs of the businesses they support.

As part of HENNGE’s ongoing engagement with the ASCII community, Robert Sharp, President and CEO of HENNGE Inc., will lead a session focused on one of the challenges increasingly facing MSPs: protecting client identities as credential-based attacks become more common and traditional authentication controls prove insufficient on their own.

During the webinar, Sharp will examine why MFA remains an important security control but may not provide enough context to determine whether an access attempt should actually be trusted. He’ll make the case for conditional access as a stronger baseline for managed identity security, allowing factors such as device, IP range, and other login conditions to inform access decisions.

The session will also address the licensing challenges MSPs can encounter when supporting SMB clients using Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Business Standard, E1 and Google Workspace. These clients don’t have access to the conditional access capabilities included with higher-tier Microsoft licensing, leaving MSPs to find practical ways to strengthen identity security without requiring every client to move to more expensive licensing.

“MSPs are being asked to protect clients against threats that increasingly start with legitimate credentials,” said Sharp. “For ASCII members, that creates both a security challenge and an opportunity. Identity is becoming another area where MSPs can bring real value to their clients by applying stronger, more consistent access controls as part of the services they already provide.”

Sharp will also explore the broader pressures bringing identity higher on the priority list for SMBs, including cyber insurance requirements, compliance audits, SaaS sprawl, and credential-based attacks, and how MSPs can respond by making identity security a repeatable part of their managed service offering.

With more than three decades of IT experience and a background as a former VAR owner, Sharp brings firsthand knowledge of the challenges facing channel partners. As President and CEO of HENNGE Inc., he’s focused on helping MSPs simplify identity security without sacrificing strong client protection or opportunities for business growth.

“Identity Is the Next Managed Service” will take place on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 2:00 PM ET (11:00 AM PT) and is available exclusively to members of The ASCII Group.

ASCII members can register for the webinar through the ASCII member portal.
